Introducing The Frame Range
Named after a traditional Japanese storehouse, Kura is a modern reimagination of the quintessential storage unit.
Following NOMI’s founding philosophy of blending craftsmanship and design with modern technology, the Sydney-based brand is excited to launch its newest range of timeless, robust, and configurable storage solutions for home, work, and play.
NOMI’s technological advancement gives consumers the ability to customise their own parametric designs online and create a storage piece that best suits their space and needs.
“We wanted to create a range that could utilise local manufacturing while giving the consumers the flexibility to create something specific to their space,” says Henry Gresson, Director & Co-Founder of NOMI.
Handcrafted by local artisans using materials such as oak veneer or decorative laminates, Kura’s highly configurable design allows for multi-use versatility with endless possible combinations, while maintaining a subtle simplicity.
“The minimalist form and modern functionality of the Kura supports many different applications, making it easy to fit-out larger spaces, without being overbearing in its appearance,” shares Stephanie Jasny, the company’s Creative Director.
The endless system allows you to build different configurations, broken down into lowboards, sideboards, midboards, highboards and extra highboards. Consumers can mix and match shelves, drawers, planters and doors in various sizes and finishes, ranging from oak veneer to textured laminate. An option to include castors is also available, allowing for more flexible and movable storage applications. Once you have configured your design, you can conveniently download your drawings, view lead times and pricing instantaneously.
With its adaptable, classic design and multifunctional appeal, Kura integrates seamlessly into a wide mix of spaces—be it residential, commercial or hospitality environments.
