NOMI’s finishes can either be applied as a solid or a wash. The solid is Polyurethane based matte lacquer with 0% dilution with the grain slightly visible. The wash is a polyurethane based matte lacquer with 10% dilution with the grain totally visible. NOMI also offers you the ability to select a Dulux colour that we will convert into a furniture finish. We’ll produce 3 samples of your custom colour at a 3 different dilution levels for you or your client to choose from.

AMERICAN OAK

Imported from America, this is perfect for any space that wanted to introduce the beauty of a natural timber.

AMERICAN OAK VENEER

American Oak Veneer is laminated into a plywood core. This can be exposed or edged.

GRANDIS (SPOTTED GUM)

Eucalyptus Grandis, also known as the flooded gum or rose gum. This is a lighter timber that we recommend for any painted finish.

TEAK

Teak is a tropical hardwood tree species that is harvested in Indonesia – note the FSC accreditation.

COMPACT LAMINATE

A decorative surfaces and doors for kitchens, wardrobes, furniture and commercial use.

LAMINATE

MDF Laminate can be used for a cost effective offering for table tops.

Upholstery

NOMI’s house upholstery is a commercial grade wool mix – composed of 70% wool, 25% polyamide and 5% acrylic. Customer’s own material is available upon request.
